Why order from us

Advice on paper and binding
We help you choose the paper, cover and binding to suit the page count and how it will be used.
What is publication printing?
Publication printing covers anything that is read page by page and bound: books, magazines, catalogues, manuals, diaries and notebooks. What matters here is readability, accurate colour and a binding that stands up to use.
We help you choose the size, paper and binding, and recommend digital printing for short runs and reprints, or offset when the print run is larger.
| Product | Common sizes |

Frequently asked questions
What’s the difference between digital and offset printing?
Digital printing works straight from the file, with no setup beforehand, and suits short or personalised runs. Offset requires plates to be made, but works out cheaper per unit on long runs.
Can I order just a few copies?
Yes. Digital printing allows short runs and lets you reprint later, whenever you need more. Tell us how many copies you want and we’ll prepare your quote.
What file do I need to send?
A PDF of single pages in order, with bleed and embedded fonts, and the cover as a separate file. Our guide to preparing your files explains it step by step.
Can you lay out my book or magazine?
Yes: our design and layout service prepares the inside pages and cover from your text and images. Just mention it when you ask for a quote.
